There are issues that I do not claim to be an expert on.  Part of what makes me a good legislator is my willingness to listen to differing views, have an open dialogue with other legislators and constituents, and make informed decisions.

As your State Representative, I will:
  • Cut Wasteful Spending & Oppose Tax Increases - it is important that every single one of your tax dollars is spent wisely and efficiently. I will work to find common sense solutions and fight to keep your taxes low and spending under control.
  • Protect Our Constitutional Rights & Individual Liberties - whether it is your choice to join a union, to own a firearm, to choose to marry, or to exercise your 1st Amendment rights.
  • Increase Transparency and Implement Criminal Justice Reform  - I have consistently supported more transparency in all of state government. We must implement changes that will rebuild the community's trust in law enforcement and insure that our justice system is fair.
  • Expand Education Freedom - A child's education should be based on what works best for them, not their zip code.  I voted to institute Education Tax Credits for businesses which has allowed organizations like Children's Scholarship Fund to help over 600 NH kids thrive.  I would support the establishment of Education Savings Accounts to make education freedom more accessible to NH's kids.
  • Work to Reduce Regulations and Growth of Government - There are endless laws on the books in NH that are either outdated or un-needed.  We have too many restrictions and regulations on you, your business and your property. When it comes to government, less is more.
  • Promote Business and Job Growth - a stronger economy will expand our tax base, help reduce residential property taxes and increase employment opportunities.
  • Attend House Sessions - while it may seem like this should be obvious, unfortunately too many legislators fail to be there to cast votes on your behalf.  I am in a position where I have the time to attend committee meetings, hearings and session days to vote.
  • Maintain an Open Line of Communication - your representative should be accessible in order to hear your concerns and input on legislation.
  • Remember who elected me and why.
